Baby Carrier Review: Emmeline Textiles Meadowsweet Dots

We had a really sweet traveler come through recently by way of Emmeline Textiles, a babywearing company created by two sisters who have a passion for wearing and textiles.

Meadowsweet Dots is densely woven with a lovely drape that makes for a very moldable chest pass and smallish candy cane chest belt. The glide makes it easy to tighten strand by strand and walk out slack without being even close to breaking into a sweat.

Meadowsweet Dots is light in hand, feels like that baby blankie you had when you were a baby that is now used to snuggle your own babies, soft like a newborn’s sweet cheeks. It's perfect for those spring and summer babies. Multi-layer carries, no fighting passes. Single-layer carries, cool and comfortable.

Summary: Wrap It Up

Below is a summary of things that might make you go for Meadowsweet Dots, or not. Keep in mind that the list is subjective and you may love the wrap even if you check off more than half the things for the "not for me" list below.

This may not be love at first wrap if you're looking for:
  • grip
  • more color
  • lots of texture
  • thicker density
  • wider width
This might be your cup of tea if you're looking for:
  • a natty
  • subtle design
  • narrower width
  • glide and fluidity, soapy
  • newborn babywearing (toddlerwearing okay too but could feel less supportive in a single layer carry with a toddler over a long duration)
