Brick Red Poppies Mustard Yellow Fabric Necklace

I just love this graphic cotton duck fabric of brick red poppies over a soft mustard yellow. I bought it seasons ago without a particular project in mind. Sometimes you find that perfect fabric that you just got to have (you know it'll turn into something beautiful someday!). At one point, it was going to be a pleated purse. Then, it changed into an apron. Then, it stayed in the fabric bin for months. Digging back into things that have been put away for months is like finding money in a winter coat pocket! 

Note: The wood ring didn't end up making it on this necklace. It'll make its debut in another creation!

The fabric necklaces I've been making aren't exclusive to nursing mothers of teething babies. They're fun for anyone! Happy birthday month E! This one's coming to you!
