Amigurumi Inch Worm

My little sister Janice has always had a thing for inch worms. So obsessed, she used to pretend she was an inch worm. Janice, this one's for you! Love, Sis.

Materials:
green worsted weight yarn
small amount of red yarn
small amount of brown yarn
2 small black pearl beads
fiberfill stuffing
large-eyed blunt needle
crochet hook F 3.75mm


HEAD AND BODY
With green yarn, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in first ch. Place marker for beg of rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed.
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st around–12 sts.
Rnd 3: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st; rep from * around–18 sts.
Rnd 4: *2 sc in next st, sc in next 2 sts; rep from * around–24 sts.
Rnds 5–8: Sc in each st around.
Rnd 9: *Sc2tog, sc in next 2 sts; rep from * around–18 sts.
Rnd 10: *Sc2tog, sc in next st; rep from * around–12 sts.
Start stuffing firmly. Continue stuffing as you go.
Rnd 11: (Sc2tog) 6 times–6 sts.
Rnd 12: 2 sc in each st around–12 sts.
Rnd 13: Rep Rnd 3.
Rnds 14–17: Sc in each st around.
Rnd 18: Rep Rnd 10.
Rnd 19: Rep Rnd 11–6 sts.
Rnd 20: Rep Rnd 12–12 sts.
Rnds 21–23: Sc in each st around.
Rnd 24: *Sc2tog, sc in next 2 sts; rep from * around–9 sts.
Rnd 25: Rep Rnd 18–6 sts.
Rnd 26: (Sc2tog) 3 times–3 sts.
Fasten off.
FINISHING
Sew beads to head for eyes. With brown yarn, embroider outline st eyeglasses around beads. With red yarn, embroider straight st smile. Weave in ends.
