Wintry Sunshine Cowl (crochet)

I love how quickly bulky yarns work up. Some times I don't have the bulk of yarn I want so pairing two skeins together does the trick and adds extra dimension to the project. Adding two of different weights or one more shimmery than the other adds interesting detail too! Have fun with it!!!

Ingredients
- N-9.00mm crochet hook
- two skeins of yarn
- Caron Simply Soft in Off White (100% acrylic)
- Lion Brand Scarfie in Cream/Mustard (78% acrylic, 22% wool)
- yarn needle
- scissors
Abbreviations
- ch - chain
- st(s) - stitch(es)
- sl st - slip stitch
- sc - single crochet
- dc - double crochet
Recipe
- Holding both ends of the yarn together, ch 60 sts or as many sts as you'd like to get desired circumference.
- Join to the first ch st with a sl st. Be sure to not twist the ch.
- Round 1: ch 2 (doesn't count as a st). 1 dc into the same st. 1 sc in the next st. Repeat alternating dc and sc. Sl st to the first dc st.
- Round 2: ch 1 (doesn't count as a st). 1 sc into the same st. 1 dc in the next st. Repeat alternating sc and dc. Sl st to the first sc st.
- Repeat rounds 1 and 2 until cowl measures approximately 12 inches (30.5cm) or until desired height of cowl.
- Fasten off and weave in ends.
