Midwinter Cowl (knit)
I JUST COMPLETED A PROJECT USING FOUR COLORS SIMULTANEOUSLY!!! Well, really 3-stranded knitting but there were FOUR skeins of yarn in a bag all being used. This project uses bulky yarn and so it works up pretty quickly (compared to thinner yarns).
Choosing the color combo to use was probably the hardest part!
I've had my heart on making a yoked cowl but hadn't found a pattern that caught my eye until this week. I really don't enjoy a cold neck or cold shoulders so this type of cowl seems like it would do the trick! Plus, there's the potential for snow 6 months out of the year where I live so cozy accessories get put to plenty of use.
I didn't use the same yarns as suggested in the pattern, I used what I had already in my yarn collection. Kept the same suggested weight and needle size. Pattern was easy to follow and when I had a question, Laura at Fogbound Knits was quick to respond!
