River Birch Cowl (knit)

After knitting several things using a super bulky yarn that can nearly stand up on its own, this cowl has been the total opposite feel. In place of the cushy bounce of the other bulky yarn, this one has an airy cloud of softness about it.

A cream and tan knit soft cowl slightly folded over itself on a wood surface next to dried leaves.

I also used metal knitting needles instead of bamboo ones and I really enjoyed them! When I started my knitting journey, metal ones felt too cold to me and my stitches slipped off too easily. This time around, I actually found it nice slipping the stitches off so smoothly and the feel of the metal didn't bother me at all! Maybe I'll give metal knitting needles more of a go now - though I'll use what I have (just maybe new sizes I'll try out metal...)!
