Christmas Tree Craft

Card stock. Stickers. Empty toilet paper rolls. Glue.
How much more fun can it get?

I'm all for getting messy but some days you just don't feel like messing with paint (pun intended!). These foam stickers have an easy peel-off backing toddlers can do themselves (and these days, she likes anything she can do all by herself!).

Materials:
  • Toilet Paper Roll
  • Green and yellow card stock
  • Stickers, pom poms, crayons, etc. (anything you'd like to decorate a tree with)
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick
Directions:
  1. Depending on age, you can have the child draw the outline of a Christmas tree and cut it themselves or have them pre-cut (we pre-cut ours).
  2. Have them decorate the tree with whatever materials you give them and have them make a yellow star out of card stock (or pre-cut like we did) to put at the top of the tree. Let it sit and dry.
  3. Cut two slits on the sides that are straight across from each other. Stick the green construction paper tree between them. Depending on the weight of the paper you might need to make the slits a little deeper so that the tree stands up.
  4. Put their names on the back and there you have a great Christmas craft to give to parents or grandparents!
