Knit Project #13: Bright Rainbow Beanie
Little Miss E picked out this rainbow yarn for her next hat. It's so fun and cheerful, just like E!
She refers to this hat as her "emo hat." (She means to say "rainbow"...I think).
It came out on the bigger side but that just means she'll get to enjoy it for years to come (and it's easier for her to put on by herself)!

Notes:
- BabyBee Hushabye Ombre in Crayon. Recommends US J-10 6mm knitting needles (16 stitches x 24 rows = 4"x4") but used US 9 5.5mm 16" circular knitting needles.
- cast on 72 (but hat came out on the big side so would probably cast on 64 next time or knit with elastic thread alongside the yarn to prevent the ribbing from stretching out)
- k2p2 repeat to end of round and about 8 times for ribbing
- garter stitch pattern for 6 rows ("1 row knit, 1 row purl" repeat 3 times total)
- stockinette stitch pattern for 8 rows or so
