Sparkly Ribbed Hats (knit)
I love a little sparkle in my life. Though not necessarily the glitter kind that ends up everywhere and never truly gets vacuumed.... Here's adding a little sparkle to these 1x1 ribbed hats that are so stretchy they can fit a toddler or an adult (maybe a small adult)!!
Materials
- US 10.5 (6.5 mm) 16" circular knitting needles
- stitch marker
- yarn needle
- Less than 1 ball of Lion Brand Shawl in a Ball in Opal (something else sparkly for the pink hat I don't remember what I had...)
- Less than 1 ball of Caron Simply Soft in Off White (Bernat Satin in Antique Rose for the pink hat)
- 65 mm or 85 mm pom pom maker (gray hat has 85 mm pom pom, pink hat has 65 mm pom pom)
Notes
- Generous sizing due to stretchiness and option for cuffing or not; toddler to small adult head??
- Gauge: 4 x 4 inches = 20 sts x 16 rows
- Knit in round
- I started the pink hat using yarn I didn't have the labels for anymore but pink yarn is similar in weight to the Caron Simply Soft and the sparkly yarn is thicker than the Lion Brand Shawl in a Ball but less than the Caron Simply Soft.
Finished Measurements
Circumference: approximately 14 inches, not stretched (it's very stretchy)
Height: approximately 11 inches not including pom pom
