Chunky Cowl Scarf (crochet)

Here's a cowl-version of the Chunky Infinity Scarf (crochet). Instead of crocheting a really long chain and having the option of leaving the scarf long or looping it for a double layer shorter scarf, this one is crocheted to be shorter but wider so you can leave it bunchy or fold it over. Perfect with a sweater or underneath a coat to keep you cozy!

Materials

• 10.00mm N crochet hook
• 1 skein Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick 
• 80% acrylic/20% wool
• 6oz, 106yd
• machine wash and dryable
• yarn needle

Instructions

• Chain 45, join together with a sl st.
• Row 1: Ch 2, dc in each sc around and connect with sl st to first dc in the round.
• Rows 2-5: Repeat row 1 until you run out of yarn, which should complete about 9-10 rounds or complete until desired width or until you run out of yarn (which if it doesn't complete a full round, take it out and fasten off at last completed round). 
• Weave in ends. 

Approximate finished measurements:

• 9 inch width
• 30 inch circumference
