Materials
- US10.5, 16 inch circular knitting needles (used bigger size because knitting together two strands simultaneously)
- 1 skein Caron Simply Soft in Pagoda
- 100% acrylic, medium weight
- 4"x4" = 18S x 24 R
- Recommend US8 knitting needles
- yarn needle
- stitch marker
Instructions
Diagonal Rib Pattern (multiple of 4 sts)
- Rnds 1 & 2: *K2. P2. Rep from * around.
- Rnds 3 & 4: *P1. K2. P1. Rep from * around.
- Rnds 5 & 6: *P2. K2. Rep from * around.
- Rnds 7 & 8: *K1. P2. K1. Rep from * around.
These 8 rounds form the "Diagonal Rib Pattern."
- With 2 strands of yarn (taking 1 end from center of skein and 1 end from outside of skein), cast on 76 sts. Join in rnd, placing a marker on first st.
- Knit one round.
- Purl one round.
- Knit one round.
- Rep 8 rnds of Diagonal Rib Pattern 4 times.
- *K2. P2. Rep from * around.
- Knit one round.
- Purl one round.
- Knit one round.
- Bind off loosely.
Finished Measurements
- 20.5 inches in circumference
- 11 inches wide
