Changing things up with diagonal ribbing! 


Girasol Earthy Rainbow Double Weft. Size 6. Double Hammock with Saltwater Finish Tied Under Bum.

Materials
  • US10.5, 16 inch circular knitting needles (used bigger size because knitting together two strands simultaneously)
  • 1 skein Caron Simply Soft in Pagoda 
    • 100% acrylic, medium weight
    • 4"x4" = 18S x 24 R
    • Recommend US8 knitting needles
  • yarn needle
  • stitch marker
Instructions
Diagonal Rib Pattern (multiple of 4 sts)
  • Rnds 1 & 2: *K2. P2. Rep from * around.
  • Rnds 3 & 4: *P1. K2. P1. Rep from * around.
  • Rnds 5 & 6: *P2. K2. Rep from * around.
  • Rnds 7 & 8: *K1. P2. K1. Rep from * around.
These 8 rounds form the "Diagonal Rib Pattern."
  • With 2 strands of yarn (taking 1 end from center of skein and 1 end from outside of skein), cast on 76 sts. Join in rnd, placing a marker on first st.
  • Knit one round.
  • Purl one round.
  • Knit one round.
  • Rep 8 rnds of Diagonal Rib Pattern 4 times.
  • *K2. P2. Rep from * around.
  • Knit one round.
  • Purl one round.
  • Knit one round.
  • Bind off loosely.
Finished Measurements

  • 20.5 inches in circumference
  • 11 inches wide
