Grassy Cowl with Double Moss Stitching (knit)


Trying out a new way to do the edge to prevent rolling. Last time I did a ribbing. This time I did a "Double Moss Stitch." Love them both!


Lays flat with no blocking!
Materials
  • 1 skein Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick in Grass
    • 80% acrylic/20% wool
    • 106 yards
    • machine washable and dryable
    • recommends US 13, 9mm knitting needles for 4" x 4" 9 S x 12 R
  • used US 15, 10 mm, 29 inch circular knitting needles
  • stitch marker
  • yarn needle

Instructions
  • Cast on 58 sts. Join round being careful not to twist stitches. Place marker for beginning of round.
  • Row 1: *K1, P1* repeat from * to end.
  • Row 2: Repeat row 1
  • Row 3: *P1, K1* repeat from * to end.
  • Row 4: Repeat row 3.
  • Row 5-35: Knit in round.
  • Rows 36-39: repeat rows 1-4
  • Cast off loosely.
  • Weave in ends.

Finished Measurements
  • Width = 12 inches
  • Circumference = 27 inches
